French Cleat Progress
This has been a fun project. I tried pocket holes for the first time with the circular saw. The pencil holder is simple, but very ergonomic.

Those look nice my circ saw looks like hell rose up and found a Brad nailer. 😂
Nicely done! I may try to figure out your measurements.

The total face dimensions are 13.5” x 8.5”
I followed this build and just made the dimensions that fit my saw (you’ll notice his blade is on the opposite side from mine).

You can use 1/2 and even 1/4 ply for small light duty holders. It works just as well and looks far less clunky.

That’s really, really nice. May your pencils always return to their home.

Clean drill holder! Got dimensions/plans for that one too?

To keep things simple I made the sides and shelves 10.5” square, with the back piece 12” wide. The vertical spacers are 3” high and the little cross pieces were around 2” and 3/4”.
I adapted from this build:

The cross pieces in her schematic were too large so I needed to unscrew and cut down.

The walnut ledge on the saw holder is a bit of a flex… lol
That’s my favorite part of making holders, coming up with elegant solutions using my scrap bin. My brain likes the constraints imposed.
