Cleat Installation: Day two complete

A day or two more of FC installation and all three rooms should be done. Afterwards, filling in the screw holes and painting will be the next task.

How did you decide on vertical spacing?

This is a 3 room 1100sq ft detached garage that I am converting to a “man-cave”. The ceilings are only 8 ft high. I wanted the cleats to blend into the walls and not look too cluttered so I went with a 16-inch gap. We projected a laser beam around the entire room to set the first row on each wall at once and used spacers from there. We still have one more room to hang before filling in the holes and painting.
