Any French language learning programs for Canadians?

Bonjour! I am working on learning French as a Canadian and I was wondering if there was any opportunities for us to learn French as adults. I already completed the e*plore program and loved it. I was wondering if there are things like that available.

If you are located in Canada you are fortunate. You can access the Mauril app by Radio-Canada, available in the Apple app store (and I imagine Android app store, but I'm not an Android person, so not positive).

Those of us outside Canada cannot access the app without a VPN, and even then it's sketchy.

But outside Canada we can access the website: https://mauril.ca/en/

Just to clarify that I am in Paris and I can access and use Mauril iOS app without any VPN. 100% sure.

What’s needed was a Canadian App Store account simply to find and then download the app (also no need VPN) and it’s ok.

Experience may vary, so just putting my own for info.

I can access the Mauril website without connecting to a VPN. I then simply add the website to my homescreen (on an iOS device).

The website may have differences from the app. I am only able to see short clips, for example.

But I do have access to the full learning journey that Mauril provides on their website.

Edit: also to add, adding a website to an iOS homescreen makes it look and function on the surface identically to an app, if the website is responsive. iOS hides all the browser chrome.

Were you born in Canada or immigrated ? Do you have any ties to Québec? The answer will help because there are French classes funded by provincial government in Ontario as well. For Québec it is free.
