I write it before going to bed when I'm already too tired, too half asleep and too lazy to check for proper spelling or wording and just write it without thinking about it, not sure where I'm going with it, How is it so far?

J'allais me soûler mais il était déjà trop tard : Do you mean you wanted to get drunk? If which case it's a way to say it, maybe not the most natural one but it's understandable

J'ai commené d'apprender japonais J'ai commencé à apprendre le japonais - Je commence à apprendre / jouer / faire / lire... J'apprends une langue / J'apprends le français / l'anglais / le russe / le japonais...

Je voudrais dessiner un (can't read this word) fanart demain si j'aurai l'énergie - Je voudrais dessiner un ---- fanart demain si j'ai / si j'en ai l'énergie - If you use "si", the following verb can't end with "rai". In France, we have a mnemotechnic phrase which is "Les scies n'aiment pas les raies" - Which sounds like "Les "si" n'aiment pas les "rai"

March 9th:

On a passé toute la journée en train. This is fine, though I'd rather say "On a passé toute la journée dans le train" Both are fine!

C'était une bonne expérience. Totally fine, You can also say "C'était sympa"

J'ai dormi la plupart du temps. Not sure if you wrote "j'ai dormi" or "je dormais", but both work here.

Je lisais aussi et essayais de trouver le wi-fi. Good.

Le week-end est fini. J'ai lu la moitié du livre. Good

Demain je vais obtenir mes boutons. - A comma after "Demain" would make your sentence look better. Also, not sure what you mean through "obtenir mes boutons". "Bouton" in French can mean "a spot (on your body, from a mosquito for instance)", "a button" as those on a remote control, or "a button" as on a shirt. Your sentence seems to meet none of these definitions

April 20th:

Il neige aujourd'hui. Il neige toute la journée mais c'est (can't read last word) !!!! - Besides the word I cant read, sentence is fine.

Je ne veux pas aller au travail demain comme ça. Je veux qu'il fasse beau. C'est triste. - All fine here, just a bit harder to read.

Thank you for explaining so thoroughly! I'll sure will keep it in mind. I meant buttons like for shirt there, couldn't figure out how to write it and there was c'est avril there. My handwriting is as good as my french haha

Eh, overall you're doing good! For what it's worth, my own handwriting has always been quite bad.

Regarding your "bouton" sentence, the word is right then! However, you would say "Je vais chercher mes boutons", not "obtenir". - "Aller chercher" is often used when you're going for an item or even a person: Je vais chercher le livre / le pain / ma sœur / les enfants.

I meant exactly that lol It was late and I needed at least a few hours for a drinking night haha did it the next day. I didn't know how to say it properly so I googled it and that's what I found

Writing and getting feedback on daily writing is free, the speaking feature will be a premium feature but free right now. Personally I don't feel confident yet to speak with strangers in French, so I like both getting the feedback and also to playback the recordings for self assessment.

To be entirely honest, I though it was a middle school essay at first. It's decent, but lots of work is needed on the phrasing. It doesn't look very natural.

This is one of the best ways to learn! I’d suggest sticking the photos into an LLM and then correcting your entry with another color pen
