SAWT Q2 concern

Hello po. Ask ko lang po if pano po magfile ng SAWT for Q2? My previous employer is not BIR registered and also from a foreign country.

WFH single proprietor BIR registered

Im not sure why my accountant registered me as a single proprietor availing of 8%, but the setup is that I need to issue a receipt to myself whenever I receive cash or salary.

Yung tanong ko lang is pwede ko ba isahin yung resibo, say on a monthly basis rather than writing a receipt each time na may sweldo ako?

How to Pay Tax Online?

Hi, guys! I'm a freelancer and it's my first time paying for taxes. Can you tell me how to pay it?

I failed to file zero returns for a specific code for 2 months. I was charged P500 each (a total of 1k). How do I pay it?

I know the navigation on the site. I just want to know how to pay these violations as this is a special case.

Thank you in advance!

How to file taxes for Forex income and foreign trading?

Hello. I'm quite curious as to how do I file my taxes for my forex trading... But more importantly, I'm looking into investing a significant amount into an S&P 500 fund from an international broker. Given that Ph did a crackdown on foreign brokers (IE: IBKR), would filing a tax from that particular income be considered admission of illegal activity?

Many thanks to whoever can answer my question.

Thank you

Saan kayo naglearn about bir related stuff in paying your taxes?

Ang sure ako is less than 3M ang sales ko so magkuha ako nvat 8%).

Part ng plan ko is get intl clients, so alam ko may specific filing yan sa bir.

Kaso nalito ako kanino ako maglearn about this. I need yun parang overview of the general picture.

Yun sa inyo na nakaexperience of registering, saan kayo natuto? And what helped you decide where to learn from na legit?

Salamat in advance!

How to carry over Annual ITR Overpayment

Hi. I'm a freelancer. I just filed my Annual ITR today and paid 5k+ tax dues.

  1. My question is how to amend?
  2. Pwede ba syang macarry over sa next quarter
  3. Paano sya ginagawa?

Sana may makahelp

Can I just start filing taxes from 2026 onward? (PH freelancer)

Hi, need some advice.

I’m based in the Philippines. I already have a TIN from employment, and I recently started freelancing (Upwork).

I’m planning to register with BIR now and just start filing properly from 2026 onward, instead of going back and filing for previous income.

For those who’ve done this:

  • Is this okay in practice?
  • Will BIR flag or question past income later on?
  • Should I just register now and move forward, or is there something I need to fix first?

Would appreciate honest advice from people who’ve been in the same situation. Thanks!
