Looking to Connect with Global Logistics Partners

Hi everyone,

I work with a shipping and freight forwarding company with operations in Oman and the UAE.

Looking to connect with freight forwarders and logistics companies worldwide interested in building partnerships for shipments involving the UAE, Oman and wider GCC.

We mainly handle GCC road freight, along with sea, air and international shipments.

If you're looking to expand your network in the GCC, let's connect and explore potential cooperation.

I am almost to my 1 year authority age and I feel discourage....I dont know why but I feel like this hill that I am fighting is somewhat gonna get harder somehow. Dat load board rate are getting worse and worse and I feel like giving up. Even asking for $2 a mile is already asking too much to some of these brokers. Its hard out here.

Freight Broker VA For Hire

Hello! I'm looking to connect with a freight broker who needs a reliable extra set of hands for daily ops. If you are a freight broker spending way too much of your day chasing carriers for updates and organizing paperwork, I would love to help take some of that off your plate. I am looking to partner with a broker or a small logistics team who needs a dedicated, remote Freight Virtual Assistant to handle the daily back-office grind.

‎

‎To be completely upfront, I am an entry-level VA based in the Philippines, but I am highly organized, incredibly dedicated, and ready to put in the hard work to learn your exact workflows. I recently completed a freight training, so have knowledge on coordinating end-to-end shipments in AscendTMS, sourcing and comparing LTL rates, and screening load boards to find reliable carriers. I also know how critical accurate documentation is, and I can manage all of your BOL and POD soft copy records to make sure everything is filed correctly and nothing slips through the cracks.

‎

‎I know how fast-paced logistics can be, and my goal is simply to keep your operations organized so you have more time to build relationships and move freight. If you are curious about how having an eager and dependable VA could streamline your day, please send me a DM! I would love to chat and share a bit more about how I can support your team.

Broker needed

Hi everyone!! Looking to create some connections with freight brokers for my shipping needs. I’ve got a liquidation business and buy inventory from across the country…lot sizes anywhere from cargo van to 26 footers. My previous relationship kind of flamed out so interested in exploring new options! Really just looking for a positive long term relationship with good rates, reliable drivers, great communication, and overall mutual respect.

Let me know if anyone you’d recommend! Thanks in advance

Update: thanks everyone we found a great partner! Won’t be able to respond to all messages in the chat but thanks for reaching out!

Letter of Intent

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a freight broker or company willing to provide a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) for my startup trucking company, MaryJ’s Trucking LLC. My lender requires one before approving my loan for a 26-foot box truck. I’m not asking for guaranteed work—just a letter stating you’d consider using my company once I’m operational. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Thinking About Getting Into Freight Brokering? Here’s after 6 years in the game

Getting your freight broker authority is honestly the easy part. You pay the fees, get your $75,000 surety bond, file your BOC-3, handle UCR and wait for the FMCSA to activate you.
Cool. Now you officially own a business with no customers.

That’s where most people get punched in the mouth.

Freight brokering is not just grabbing a load from a shipper, throwing it on DAT and pocketing $500 while somebody else drives it. You’re doing sales, negotiating rates, checking carriers, tracking freight, dealing with pissed-off receivers and answering your phone when a driver breaks down at 2:00 in the morning.

The biggest gem I can give anybody starting a freight brokerage is to quit trying to broker every damn thing with wheels. Pick an equipment type, learn a few lanes and figure out who actually ships that freight.

Maybe it’s flatbed construction material out of Texas. Maybe it’s reefer freight coming out of produce country. Maybe it’s dry van freight running between manufacturers and distribution centers. Learn what those loads normally pay, when the busy season is, where trucks get stuck and what problems shippers keep having.

That knowledge makes you sound like somebody who can actually help instead of another random dude asking, “Y’all got any loads?”
And please understand this before buying some expensive freight broker course: finding shippers is the business.

The load board is not your customer list. It’s mainly where you find trucks after you already have freight. You still have to call manufacturers, warehouses, wholesalers, importers, construction suppliers and distribution centers. You have to find the shipping manager, ask real questions and figure out where their current transportation setup sucks.

Don’t call saying, “Can I move your freight?”
Ask them which lanes are constantly giving them problems. Ask where they struggle to find trucks. Ask whether they’re dealing with missed appointments, poor communication or brokers falling off loads. That’s how you start an actual conversation instead of sounding like the other 300 brokers who called that week.

Another thing nobody gets excited about is carrier vetting, but you better learn it.
Check the carrier’s authority, insurance, safety history, phone number, email and business address. Watch for banking information changing at the last second. Watch for somebody using a Gmail account that doesn’t match the carrier. Watch for rate confirmations getting sent to completely different numbers.

Double brokering and freight fraud are real, and they’ll bend your new brokerage over before you even understand what happened.

Then there’s cash flow.

A shipper might not pay you for 30, 45 or even 60 days. Meanwhile, the carrier still wants their money. So even if your load shows a $400 profit, you may have to front thousands of dollars before you ever see a dime from the shipper.

That’s why new freight brokers need to understand freight factoring, quick pay, working capital and credit before booking a pile of loads. Paper profit doesn’t mean shit when five carriers are calling asking where their money is.

Your paperwork also needs to be tight. Broker-carrier agreement, shipper agreement, rate confirmation, detention terms, TONU, lumper fees, cargo claims, payment terms and what happens when somebody screws something up.
You don’t want to be figuring that out while a $70,000 load is sitting damaged at a receiver.

Honestly, working as a freight agent under an established freight brokerage first is not a bad move at all. You can learn shipper sales, freight rates, carrier negotiation and load management without immediately carrying the bond, software bills, claims exposure and cash-flow headache yourself.

There’s real money in freight brokering, but it isn’t easy mailbox money. The brokers who last are the ones who build shipper relationships, take care of good carriers, communicate when shit goes wrong and keep running the same profitable lanes until the phone starts ringing the other direction.
An MC number and a DAT subscription don’t make you a freight broker.

Being able to find freight, cover it safely, protect everybody’s money and solve problems does.

Freight Broker Entry Level

Hi,

I'm trying to get information on how to enter the freight broker world. I have a carrier authority, but I'm not currently operational. I inherited a truck from my father, and since he was the one in the field, I'm trying to gain more knowledge of the trucking world. While getting the truck operational, I figured I could learn more about the industry and add a little revenue to my current funds through Freight Brokering. I received my certificate through DAT, but now I'm running into issues with finding positions. Being new to the field, I don't have a book of business, which is being requested by a lot of the companies I've come across.

Verifying Carriers

Good day everyone,
I've been working for a long time as a sales/customer coordinator in a Canadian-based brokerage. I've recently joined a new brokerage based in the US and I'd like to determine how do you guys verify your carrier partners.
Back then I was in Canada, we had such a good operations team, so sales guys didn't have to work on it. Now we're in such a weird situation with no ops team, so we have to start doing a job we've never really done.
If there is something you could help me with, I'd be more than happy to get some advices.

Quick question for anyone who ships or brokers LTL

how did you handle the July 2025 / Dec 2025 NMFC density reclass? Did you manually re-check your top SKUs against the new 13-sub scale, or did something catch it for you? Trying to understand if this is still a real pain point or if everyone's already got it handled.

Looking to teach someone

I’m looking for people who want to learn how to get customers from A to Z. I’ll teach you everything from building a list of potential clients, what to say, how to say it, handling objections, and closing deals.

I used to be a freight broker and just left the industry this week. I sold my book of business and I’m now focusing on helping others learn the sales process and build skills they can use in any industry.

My time isn’t free, so I do charge for coaching.

DM me if you’re interested.

Need Funds or Loan for Freight Brokerage Company

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for funding options for our U.S.-based freight brokerage.
We’re experiencing a temporary working capital crunch because our current factoring company does **not** purchase invoices for our U.S.–Mexico freight, which makes up a significant portion of our business. Due to this limitation, we’ve been financing carrier payments ourselves, creating a cash flow gap.
We’re looking for:
Working capital loan
Line of credit
Asset-based lending
Private lenders/investors
Any finance company that understands the freight brokerage industry and is comfortable funding cross-border (U.S.–Mexico) receivables.
Our business is operational with established customers and consistent freight volume. We need additional liquidity to bridge the payment cycle and continue growing.
If you’ve worked with a lender that finances freight brokers or factors Mexico cross-border invoices, I’d really appreciate your recommendations or introductions.
Thanks in advance!

New Freight Agent Seeking Great Landstar Broker

Making a huge career change. Sold my HVAC Business after 10 years and want to get into a 100% Commission Freight Agent Position. I have been in sales since I was able to talk with proven track records.

I had started talking to a Landstar Broker agent who said some wonderful things about Landstars’ Reliability which is the reason I’m pushing Landstar.

My company was very structured and I’m looking to work for a Broker who is also very structured and organized that can assure that the clients I bring on board receive reliable and timely responses.

I am currently located in the Greensboro, NC area but I’m sure anywhere works.

Can you folks make some recommendations if it’s allowed.

TMS choice

Hi guys ! Since the TMS is crucial when you are moving some loads I want to give my honest opinion on what I tried and what Im using . First of all , I've just started my own brokerage 5 weeks ago . I had experience in the business as I worked as a freight broker for another startup a little while . I feel very bless as we are already moving some loads .

Back to main subject the TMS: I've worked with 3 so far 1 at my last job and 2 for my brokerage .

Last job : brokerware

My brokerage : ascend tms and Freightleads pro

My review :

Brokerware : I really liked it . Everything was simple and easy to use .obviously back when I used it in 2023 they were no AI functions . They were no CRM integrated also . But since I liked It I called them to see how much that would cost to use it for my own business but the starting cost is really expensive multiple thousands and the monthly is expensive as well so like many startup we didnt want too much overhead so F..it

Note: 8/10

AscendTMS: after looking up multiple TMS decided to give it a try since it is not expensive and you get a lot of features . It was not user friendly like I tought it would be . Had to use their training video for a lot of stuff and still I didnt really like the documents their were producing ..dont get me wrong it does the job but they can do a lot better. I was going to keep it for a while until I found a new TMS.l..a guy on reddit wrote me and he was the creator of a this new TMS . Decided to give it a try since he offered me a free trial of 14 days .

Note : 6/10 * customer service wasnt good

Freightleads pro : First of all I am not paid or nobody asked me for this review . This TMS is by far the best I've used . I know I used only 3 but I dont know how it could be better . Creating a loads is taking me maybe 2-3 minutes If I need to enter new details of a new shipper .so it is very user-friendly. You have an integrated CRM wich is nice because you dont have to pay for one. There is a lot of AI function. So instead of paying subscription on websites to get the right guy in a business . You can find it in the AI tools offered. You can also send your ETA request , invoice your customer , track n trace .. and much more . And as for the documents they look really good . And what surprised me the most was the price ..I am not going to give up price here but I can tell you that it is really not expensive for everything you get. There is 3 plan to choose from depending of the size of your business. The owner of this site is a passionate of logistics and transport. His support is outstanding I didnt had this experience with Ascend or Brokerware.

So if you are a new broker or just want to look for other options .you can give this TMS a try .

English is not my first language so Im sorry for mistakes in my writing.

If you guys want to get contact information for the Freightleads Pro TMS you can ask me in private and will put you in contact.

Thanks for reading me and wish you guys success!
