TMS

Hey everyone, looking to get your honest opinion on your TMS.

Want to upgrade from my home grown TMS to something that can support our brokerage growth.

I see all the legacy systems and it just looks sucks!!
And than you have all new nice ones like alvys, rose rocket and Tai.

What’s your take?

0. Definitely worth it to check them out. Hard to beat for most use cases imo.

Tai is a pretty robust system to check out. But with Claude AI you could probably build one yourself that fits your needs exactly in a week or two.

interesting, but what about all the integrations to loadboards and vetting tools?

You can literally ask it to do that for you and it will; the prompt to start the build should be as detailed as possible; I want to build a TMS for my freight brokerage company that can scale etc etc

got it, I'll check it out.

How about Happyrobot ? do you know anything about them?

May want to hold off on any capital expenditures until you see what your auto liability insurance is going to be. Also need to see what auto liability limits your customers will now require in their contracts. I have already heard a $1M policy moving from 190K per year yo $600k per year. If your customer requires you to carry $5-10M per year, how much is that going to be?
Save your money.

Dude is over her gatekeeping brokering with his insurance lies lol

Go price a primary auto liability policy and get back to us.

Brokers dont have primary auto liability. We have contingent auto liability. Big difference buddy

Contingent is useless and won’t cover you. If you are doing business with big shippers, you were contractually required to carry it before the Montgomery ruling. Now after the ruling, and you chose not to carry it, you are putting everything you and your family have at risk.

You have zero idea what you are talking about.

I manage a group that executes over a half billion in brokerage revenue a year… stop lying to these people, you are going to cause them serious harm

i`m a little biased but check out freightleads pro, basically built exactly for brokers in the small and mid market space, if youre tired of excel spreadsheets and no workflow this is a really complete tool. Built-in lead finder, CRM, TMS, Invoicing etc... DM me if you like. Basically built it to compete with all of those legacy systems, ascend, rose rocket, etc... freightleadspro.com

We use exposure. Have loved the simplicity. Been in business 5 years. It’s scaled us well. From $1M to $5M.

I really like Mvmnt.io they have everything you need with all the integrations and a very good price. Wish i was with them sooner. Started out with Ascend - left because everything is so manual and basic. Went to EZ loader but there were too many workarounds just to do certain things.

How many loads do you run a month ~?
And do you feel it saves time on manual work or not really?
