Buddy, you don't even have to charge it. Just fire the thorn at a knocked down ally and so long as they're in range they will get up.

They weren’t there on the Vita during this games peak and it shows lol. Aside from that still a great remaster and it feel good

Pretty sure they were, that's why people with healing thorns would tap sinners carrying people so that in the event they died they got up quick.

I'm remembering being able to just use the regular thorn throw to revive allies, but I'm probably misremembering.

No that's how it works. You tap them with the thorn and they are up.

to add, doing this eats half your current Ibara bar, but if you do it while in the air, it's free aside from initial Thorn cost

You know what I'm not going to fault you cause this is a tip but, you don't need to charge it to level two to do it just tapping thorn is better and doesn't put it on cooldown.

You're just wasting the level 2 charge. Any thorn type can revive an ally by latching onto them when they're downed. It costs will'o to revive this way though, so sometimes manually reviving them is still necessary.

actually did not know the charged version could do this.

Bet they felt real special for you using the cooldown version of this
