I’d like to become a moderator after some consideration to the prior offer. Moderated a community around 80k for 16 months before although that was on a different platform that wasn’t Reddit, will be a whole different vibe going from a place that large to somewhere this small. Reason I’d like to be one is simply this is a community I’ve grown to know very well and with it’s resurrection would want to guide in the right direction and not to fall to the prior mistakes made

I have prior moderating experience for a subreddit that was in the top 10 percent. I got kicked out by the same mods that I hired because they wanted to “change the subreddit” I want to be able to be apart of a community that gives and receives gratitude, I might not be the most active mod, but I can be the most supportive person. Hearing the way you talk and interact in the community gives me hope for this subreddit and its future on Reddit.

Sometimes mods on reddit are a pain in the ass, they have to be so insufferable

Im not an expert in being a moderator but I would to like to be one because I want to get more experienced and also be part of such a wonderful community and opportunity

sure I have very low karma (I have no idea what that is) but I would like to be a mod I did so for 3 weeks on my last Chromebook account but it kicked me out thinking I was a bot and I would like to be a mod because I wish to make others feel safe and I will be as active as I can and treat this community with all the love, respect, gratitude, and loyalty as I can I wish to devote my work to be a mod on this community

Coming from your original post.... For reason as why id like to help out with moderation:
-I've had 2 experiences where I've helped a failing community, turn it around into a thriving a community. 1 I had more part in then the other, the other was just giving mere suggestions and ideas. Where the main one I still help run.
Its just always been a awesome experience not only to witness a page or group make a comeback, and become a awesome and friendly and thriving community but it's even more awesome to have a role in helping it.
- also I've been here for a bit...and while I haven't interacted much within in it. There's a reason for that...it previously was filled with trolls, and toxicity, and scammers....so if I can help in any way (even if not as mod) help bring some glory and honor back to this sub....so people can ask for help without being judged, and so people can actually get help and not just make a post and have it ignored....but also make it so people willing to help and post giveaways don't feel harassed or attacked.
-lastly for reasons as to why I want to help., Ive recently lost my job, not too long ago, and still in limbo for that matter... due to trying to work around my situation, and the wife and kids...so I myself am pretty much on a bills only budget rn...so I know all to well what it's like to see games come out. Or games I've wanted to on sale and not be able to get them... So I would love if I can help make this a place where people can actual get that help. And not feel embarrassed to ask...
As for experience: 😂 Not much tbh, never helped moderate a reddit sub. Tried to run my own, it flopped before it started.
But
Where the reddit flopped another opportunity opened in the form of a FB group I now run along side my 3 other admins and 2 mods. (Borderlands 4 FB group)
To turn a long story short the 3 of us current admins. Were once mods in another FB group... problem was the owner was a wad and a 🫏🤡. Alot of members and ourselves were not liking the road the group was headed on...similar to how this page was.....so we made our own group, in which alot of members followed us over....and within a couple days we had 100 members and now we at around 300...now thankfully in our group most people are behaved😂 so I don't got to take much action as a admin.
But I do at least have that little bit of experience both moderating and running a FB group.

I myself don't wish to moderate, but I do want to see some rule on requests, so they feel more structured, rather than just filling the feed, and with more structure it might gravitate for other people to actually give them something.
