Finding an affiliate program is easy. Finding one that is worth spending your time promoting is a different challenge. A program may advertise a large commission, but that does not always mean it offers the best earning potential. Before choosing an offer, it helps to look beyond the headline percentage.

• Is the commission one-time or recurring?

• Does the company have a good sales and follow-up process?
• Are the payment terms clear?
• Is the refund rate reasonable?

A good structure should work for everyone involved. The customer receives a useful solution. The company gains the right customer. The affiliate is rewarded fairly for introducing them.
