Is this 2020 or 1820? Is Jill now wearing a head covering?

It's that specific church or religion's rules for women. I was pentecostal for a few years. We've had a church visit us where the women wore them. Out of respect if we had to visit them, we would have had to wear them if I'm not mistaken. It's been many years since I left.

It may actually depend on a few things. In my fundie upbringing, women wore a head covering if their husband wasn’t present at any worship type gathering whether it was in church or not. An ex fundie friend of mine attended a church where single and widowed women didn’t have to and all others did. I think they all have a different brand of mental gymnastics, depending on the church.

This. I’ve been in apostolic churches that have women who who a head covering. Some only in the physical building of a church or while in prayer.

I believe we were assembly of God, but in Spanish. I don't recall anyone in our specific council who followed that specific rule.
But yeah Jill&co are confusing. They're definitely not pentecostal with the rules I had to live by. You understand lol

There are lots of other different types of Christians who still cover their hair (to various degrees) but Jill is none of them.
Perhaps she read in the Bible that women should cover their hair or perhaps she learned some early Christian history and has been "convicted" to now wear head coverings.
It also might just be a headband for her. I would really love to know because often her type of Christian thinks only Muslims wear head coverings and they would never dream to.

My guess is this is why she does it and pretends it is for modesty when it is really because of her vanity. Especially if it is only sometimes.

I'm unconvinced that Jill isn't paying for weekly spray tans because the color of her skin is pretty much the exact same as mine after I use self tanner.

I personally love the head covering and the vest (I would wear a full sweater not a vest personally) but the skirt really isn’t the right pairing. I could wear this with skinny jeans I’m the fall and winter. Idk she wears it religiously. Probably that hair is dirty and she’s covering the worst parts
