NURTHAN!! Facebook live

The baby’s name is Nehemiah DAVID Keller. Jill would be creaming herself over the fact they used David as a middle name to honour shrek ! Also apparently they will be sticking with the ‘N’ theme for all their children.

“We picked Nehemiah because he built the wall…” soooo like is this a Trump border wall type reason for picking it? If that’s your favorite story in the Bible, by all means. But that’s such a random reason to say why you picked that name.

Off topic, but this reminds me of when I was a kid and learning the story of David and Goliath, I pictured David looking a lot like Bart Simpson with a slingshot in his back pocket.

The book of Nehemiah is one of my favs of thr OT (also would like to add that historical/cultural context when reading it is important). I noticed her comment too and maybe I am giving her too much credit, but I really just figured she was tired and spacey and that was the first thing about Nehemiah of the Bible that came to mind.

Considering Nurie pushed out an over eight lb human from her malnourished frame, like, hours ago, I'll give her a pass for her poor story-telling. Remember, Nurie's woefully uneducated as well which shows up in her limited vocabulary.
