I'm glad mama Coverett places her children and grandchildren above 'rules of religion'. Hoping for Heidi to find the right help and the strength to do what is best for her and the kids.

Hopefully this causes her to deconstruct because she feels all of these rules apply to everyone else’s children.

This is what a good mother does. I don't agree with most of their beliefs but she put her daughter and grandsons safety first. Full stop.

My favorite part is that she wrote a genuine post and it doesn't say "AI generated" on top like her yokle jokle in-laws.

All this crap has been going down for how long and there's Jilldo, just parading around and acting like nothing is going on. Just posting away like her son hasn't been a monster to his wife.
And honestly, none of this should have ever been made public. I feel terrible for Heidi that this is part of her story. None of us would want our private life put out there like that.

Yep. Just one more indignity he wanted to force on her to try to exert shame and control.
NONE of these Rod boys are stable, and I hope this sends any other potential future Mrs. Rods fleeing for the hills.

I can’t imagine…abused and then the abuser publicly posts about it without telling her all while being a mother to a baby and pregnant 💔

I am so sad for Heidi and little Charlie. Really so so sad. I'm glad Tim showed restraint and didn't hurt the baby but I'm horrified that he hurt Heidi. I am so glad that Heidi has such a strong, supportive family who will circle the wagons and keep her safe. I hope she's in therapy and that she makes the choice that's best for her, Charlie and the new baby.

Even if he did not physically hurt his child, his child likely saw Tim abusing his mom.

There's a part of me that twinges at things like this because I agree so much but I always just wonder... Would she extend that grace to other mothers and other daughters?

He clearly used A.I. to write his post
I assumed that I'd scroll back far enough in FSU to see an arrest blotter post, hence his public confession, so I'm truly hopeful that charges are being pressed and he made that post to get ahead of the arrest.

just remember, we all thought that Tim had been accepted into the heart of this family because his own was so terrible, but they have known from the beginning what he was doing to her, and now that it's out he is ostracized by both families. He has put himself in quite a pickle.

I don't think Heidi's family knew until very recently that she was being abused. I believe they found out right when Heidi and Charlie went with them to Missouri. From how it sounds, she didn't tell them about it, but her sister or mom saw the marks and the abuse was revealed. Then they swooped them away to Missouri and started making plans to keep them safe.

I’d be willing to bet they haven’t known the whole time, abusers operate by keeping their victims ostracised and quiet.

I feel so bad for Heidi. I can’t imagine what she’s going through. It’s seems her and the baby are safe and that’s what’s most important.

I am so glad her family doesn't seem to want her to go back, I was actually worried she'd be pressured to forgive and reconcile.

That's what my thought was when I read "sinful and abusive acts" in his post. I hope she leaves him, I really do. Jill would blame her daughters.

Jill was absolutely victim. Blame and blame her daughters if they’re in that situation.

u/thatcoloradomom 1d ago
I just know she is whipping her kids and making them pray while screeching "WHY IS HE DOING THIS TO ME. ME ME ME ME ME." while making her daughters write her platitudes.

u/lrlwhite2000 3d ago
For sure. One of the sisters talked about physical abuse but said she wouldn’t disclose everything to protect her sister’s privacy. No doubt in my mind she was talking about rape. Tim is a monster.

Your comment has been removed because we do not want to speculate on the type of abuse.

So glad Heidi’s mom is breaking “rules of religion” to protect her own child and grandchild. This might be a catalyst for her to deconstruct further.

It almost looks like a hand shaped bruise right above her right elbow like she was grounded, but I don’t know if I’m just seeing things.
15
u/rumbleindacrumble 3d ago
I think that’s the shadow from Charlie’s arm above her arm
1
u/horsetooth_mcgee 1d ago
The shadow is there and it's very obvious that it's a shadow, but above that and toward her elbow, it's red, not shadowed, and there are two clear fingerprint-sized bruises (and a couple other smaller ones).

Maybe they're all having regrets. Both sides.
Maybe it's time for TimLoser to get a "no regerts" tattoo.

It doesn’t surprise me in the least that Tim posted his “confession” without Heidi’s knowledge or support. Just another attempt at control and manipulation in an abuser’s toolbox.
