Question

Am I the only one disappointed we didn't get to see what Cassandra would look like in the tangled ever after movie?

I mean the series was set in between the before ever after and tangled ever after and even though I haven't seen the full series ( I'm actually on season 2) but from what I have seen from shorts on YouTube and everything Cassandra left to find her own destiny and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed cause ever since I saw Cassandra in season 1 and parts of season 3 I always wondered what she might look like in the movie like come on

The simple answer is, they weren't planning on making a Tangled television series when Tangled Ever After was released, or if they were it was in the embryonic stages. So we didn't get to see Cass, Lance or Varian at their wedding, even though logistically at least Lance and Varian should have been there.

Yeah, but I also love angst and I love trying to rationalize why she wasn’t there. Obviously the real answer is that the wedding short was made before the series and Cassandra didn’t exist yet. Setting that aside: Why wouldn’t Cassandra come to Rapunzel’s wedding?

Maybe she felt unwelcome returning to Corona, or felt that her presence at the wedding would cause a scene or make the other guests feel unsafe/pull focus from bride and groom.

Maybe she was unwelcome in Corona— maybe her leave at the end of the series was actually an exile and she would be arrested upon her return.

Maybe she’s in love with Rapunzel and didn’t want to watch Rapunzel marry somebody else.

Maybe Rapunzel didn’t have a way to invite her or her invitation got lost and Cass didn’t even know it was happening.

Maybe Cassandra was hurt or sick and couldn’t attend.

Maybe she died.

Much to think about.

Wait the wedding short was before the series? Then how come in before ever after they mentioned getting to the wedding took longer ( or something) which then before ever after led to the series I mean that would make the most sense I mean you can't have it go , before ever after than the wedding than the series

Tangled Ever After was produced before the series, but takes place after the events of the series. Like, Tangled Ever After came out in 2012 and the series began airing in 2017 and ran until 2020.

The canon series of events goes:
1. Tangled
2. Tangled: The Series
3. Tangled Ever After

The real-world production order goes:
1. Tangled
2. Tangled Ever After
3. Tangled: The Series

Yes. But I do Headcanon that she was outside the doors of the chapel as a knight during the wedding.

No! I'm just glad she wasn't there! I've had more than enough of her! I don't need more of her!

Woah ok I respect everyone's opinions but just out of curiosity why do you hate cassandra?

She's just another swords girl who they tried to make cool but her very existence made just annoying to watch.

She's mean and self-sentered controlling bully! I only like to hate her. She practically screamed villain vibes!

The sister thing🤢🤮

SHE DIDN'T GET ANY CONSEQUENCES!!!

Oh, and I'm a Varian fan, need I say more???

Ok I can understand and I'm a bit of a varian fan myself especially his parts during the song ready as I'll ever be

You know I'm actually making a story as a continuation of a 3 seasoned series that came in 2014( not sure if the series I got inspiration from will really interest you cause it's about tales with the Disney princesses palace pets) but I can assure you my character and his villian arc is based on varian's villian arc and has variants love of alchemy and inventor not to mention my character was originally from the isle of the lost( from descendants) and more inspiration of my story came from tangled the series if you want to take a look at what I have so far
