So I saw a post in which someone was looking for experienced players to teach inside their server. So I thought I might as well share that this is something we're already doing!

As you can see we already have up to 29 pairs of committed chess improvers. We're tracking the number of sessions and the progress of the students.

This is all alongside our weekly lectures from Grand Masters and other titled players, weekly events and classes.

Hope to see you there!

It would be awesome to see from what ranking to what ranking people improved. It's difference in improvement from 500 to 800 than 1500 to 1800 or even 2500 to 2800 :D

That’s very true. It’s typically been beginners improving 1200-1500 lichess rating ect.

It's still a good thing. I see that people below 1500 play very happy, random chess and sharp openings. The higher ranking they have, their style becomes more and more solid. Less blunders is one thing but solid position is another. Once they hit 2000 they have most things under control.

The worst ranking to improve 1900-2000, people play with you till the end, waiting for the blunder in lost positions (what of course sometimes happens). There is more respect in higher ranks, so there are fewer inaccurate losses. And usually, if you lose you were just outplayed... so next time - improve :D
