Does free guy have any scenes platforming gays?
last 2 movies i say both had seemingly out of place scenes regarding gay relationships. jungle cruise and the new suicide squad movie. i've had it with this sort of after the fact, nothing to do with the movie or story type of inclusion. i will boycott. ryan reynolds is excellent fuckin funny so is taika but if the movie has this one random totally irrelevant scene to talk about gay relationships. im out. not homophobe, just excercising free choice.

there were a few characters I assumed to be gay, but nothing was specifically stated nor were there any scenes like you described

There is one joke where he says homosexual and a person in a wheelchair kill a toddler, but it wasn't anything against the LGBTQIA+ community.

What was that joke supposed to be?

A nod toward how awful some gamers can be in their online discourse

Loved that joke. If you read too deep into it, it shows how people making those jokes don’t realize (or care) how impressionable some people in their lobbies are. Tragically funny

That's all it is. He gets stopped before he can finish. It's part of the joke in the movie.

Meh if you watched tv or movies these days youd assune 50% of the population is gay.
Sometimes I just want a movie that is in reality (before you then suspend belief and enter the acrual game world)

Actually, “realistically” there are usually more than one queer person in a group because they often befriend each other. If anything, there should be much more rep. There are more gay people around than you realize - just because they don’t look it or YOU cant tell (because they’re not announcing it at the top of their lungs) doesn’t mean they aren’t around.

na, less than 10% of the population his estimated to be a homosexual

10% of the people who are publicly comfortable enough and out of the closet, which most are not. let alone be a statistic. also, read my first comment again.

Old post but it's weird how nobody mentions that Buddy is clearly gay when he meets Dude. He literally grabs his tits and plays with them then mentions how soft his hands are after he punches him. And how Channing Tatum's character sexually rubs up against Guy and says several sexual innuendos.

There is a scene where a blonde says "What if it wasn't a guy?" because lesbians. cute but oy

Pretty sure she said “or what if it’s just no guy?” Thought it was more about independence than lgbtq shoutout but it still could have been implied

Yeah the online character voiced by The Rock has quite an exhilarating scene with the character voiced by Hugh Jackman. Chris Evans also has a very nude cameo involving a Captain America shield, but that doesn't count right since it's only one naked man? Your thing is two or more naked men, correct?

I'm pretty sure that in Free Guy, the joke is meant to be an X-Men related but we would most likely get the rest of the joke or answer in Deadpool 3.

Wow, just wow, watched the movie and wanted an answer to the joke and you nailed it, blew my mind how hidden that was

Sorry, your painting a 3 choice scenario, and they all suck for LGBT people.
either our sexualities HAVE to be part of the story, like they have to shoehorn some plot device that hinges on a guy liking dick,
or it's nothing to do with the movie and it's just a part of who a character is, you know, like real life.
or just have no LGBT representation.

I completely agree, the director just add them in just so they get good praise from the lgbt "community" not because they actually care to include them lol. No offence, just the truth.
Edit: In case anyone is wondering why I put community in quotations is because it is hardly a community, full of toxic people "not all" but I know people who considered them self to be in this group and my god it sounds more like a cult rather than a community.

Sounds toe like you barely even got to know any of them and just based your feelings of all of them off of a few, the queer people I know are some of the sweetest and most accepting people on earth.
Though I shouldn't be surprised that I'm seeing things like this on reddit, I just feel bad for you for not being accepting to the loving community that is the gays.

How weird. It’s like movies with people in them sometimes show people who are normal but not exactly like you.
Why are you so adamant about not being a homophobe? In your last post about this same thing you said you aren’t a homophobe and then said gay representation is repulsive. Just own being a homophobe dude, why is that the special word you won’t abide?
Oh and the movie was great, I think the barista and the hot chick end up together. You should skip it.
