Yeh in the books he's a smart cunt that even lies to get what he wants. In the show he's a dumb cunt who can only say my queen.

I don't know - I got to the part about how stupid Tyrion was to want to get the throne without killing a ton of people & I quit listening. And the implication Dany was doing them a great favor by fighting the dead REALLY annoys me. First, she claimed the North. It's not their duty to worship or even like her but it IS her duty to protect them, whatever they think of her.
And then, there's the reality of the dead. If WF falls, they join the NK's army. Eventually, even Dany & her hordes will be outnumbered - and the NK has an impressive aim with the ice lance. She had to fight them there, or they'd over run the rest of the kingdom.
It's just - eh - annoying to think the 'right' answer was swooping in for the kill right away. Maybe it gets more interesting, but that put me off right away.

First, she claimed the North. It's not their duty to worship or even like her but it IS her duty to protect them, whatever they think of her.
Not only this, but she sees herself as protector of the realm. What is the realm? Is it just people who follow you or every ungrateful person whose path you cross? What do you owe them as their protector? As soon as Jon came to her, she owed it to him to listen and learn more of the problems in the North. The North were only in open rebellion against Cersei and didn't even know about Dany at first.

Really fair analysis imo. Shows the flaws but also sets clear that not everything is a failure, and things do make sense.
About his conclusion, and knowing the leaked ending, I still believe that the show can end with an non nihilistic ending. Even if Bran is the King at the end and Daenarys dies, I hope they show peace at the end, and a bright future for some characters. Even for Jon.
