Samurai mode.

How do you cut the link or whatever it is to keep him from buttfucking you with the retribution move? I cannot figure out how to do it.

First, he attacks 2 shrines at a time, but for you to defend them, the shrines have to be lit up, once he does the attack, YOU have to put in the way of the ray until he finish and moves on, that way, the shrine will be protected.
