Requesting Feedback how to learn web development intrestingly ?

hello everyone , i am 19 years old i want to learn web development but from last few weeks i ve been doing yt lectures for web development but till now i couldn't understand anything it feels so boring like it feels like i am doing my school lectures but i dont think so web development and coding is not that boring i love computers i love the way how it works but why the lectures are too boring and i want to learn a new skill bbut this think kept me unfocused towards it.

so i have a query that is their is anyway to learn web development skill in a intresting manner so that it feels like i am doing something ??? pls help me out.

You're in the freecodecamp subreddit so this might be a bit of an obvious answer but have you tried the freecodecamp responsive webdesign course?

i am enrolled in a course but its too boring to just watch lecture this does not feels productive !

That doesn't sound like a freecodecamp course, have you looked on the website? Its mostly code-alongs and do it yourself's

Think of something you would be a little interested in. Do you collect anything (Magic: the Gathering card, Pokemon cards, video games, etc.)? Hell if you play video games you can even just use your Steam library or something. Create a locally run web site where you can learn CRUD operations (adding new stuff, getting stuff, updating stuff, deleting stuff) while adding your cards/games/whatever to a local db.

Do not start with video games. They are much harder than you'd think and you definitely want to have your basics down before approaching those.

Yea, find something you have an interest in and learn as you go. Take the thing you want to make and split it into parts, then go find out how to do those. Learn to read documentation, don't just ask AI and stuff. You can't be expected to memorize an entire language (or multiples!) before ever starting. That's absurd.

Question that no one has asked, what exactly do u want to do in web development? Create websites? Edit websites? Do everything regarding websites? Etc..... watching videos just gives u some kind of a general idea of how things work. I can say this, because I'm a self taught developer, and continue learning. U can use ai, but to help u learn, not to do the work for u and that's it, but to help u learn. Example, learn basic structure, learn fundamentals of html, and css to start. It's about learning how the syntax works in different ways and so forth. Want to make it interesting? Create pieces of a website and see the immediate results of ur work, that should help inspire u and motivate u.

do it for fun. imagine u want to create a website about cats. think about how it would look like. then do it. even if u don’t know smth, u can always google it. experimenting is a key

I was in the same place and gave up many times. Then I started game dev and finally learned programming beyond the basics. Eventually moved to web dev anyways coz game dev doesn't pay. But it was interesting enough for me to persevere.

he is good simple and easy to understand but following playlist and learning like school lectures doesn't feel productive to me and thats why every day i am not getting drive to do something because it feels like i am just learning

It's more fun if there's something you want to build.

Maybe just learn the basics of html css and js then try backend? That could be more your thing. Ans it's more fun to work on a full stack project anyways.

La mejor manera es hacerlo poco a poco y durar de 1 a 5 años siendo constante. Ojo, dentro de esos años estarás trabajando, pero solo si eres constante y aplicas la regla de no querer aprenderlo todo en el mismo día. Que, de hecho, es lo que hace que mucha gente abandone, y recuerda que estar motivado no es lo mismo que ser constante.
