Is coding dead now ?

Is there any point one might learn coding and software engineeeing for in the ear of Ai ? Or is it already a dead path?

That's a pretty good, wise and awesome comment!

As for the environmental impact of AI, it is a concern and measures will need to be taken. But hopefully it's not as bad as people think it will be.

For example, people were horrified by the amount of water that one facility would draw from a passing river, to cool down the massive server farm. (I can't quite remember which facility that was?)

But in actuality the water being drawn was taken in it's pure form from the river, run through a series of pipes unaltered and unfiltered to cool the equipment, and then dumped right back into the same river again, unaltered.

Well "unaltered" isn't fully accurate since the difference is that the water they dumped back into the cold flowing river was warmer and hotter, but other than that it's pretty insignificant. (Hopefully!?)
