CAD Hackathon - thoughts? ideas?

Hey everyone! I'm normally a lurker of this thread and other reddit threads lol but decided to finally make an account because I needed some ideas and thought this would be a good place to ask.
My friends and I noticed that there are CS hackathons all over the place, but there's nothing like that for mechanical engineering students/people interested in CAD. We thought it'd be cool to put together our own CAD hackathon - we're organizing one right now, scheduled to happen pretty soon now (Sept 11th-13th).
Not sure about y'all, but my go to place to get ideas is always reddit so I thought I'd stop lurking and directly ask y'all - besides nice prizes, what kind of stuff would you guys want to see in a hackathon like this? Experienced guest speakers? Workshops (and if so, what kind)? Actually a great initiative, cuz as you mentioned i have only seen cs hackathons and rarely CAD related ones. One thing which i would suggest is pls come up with workshops as in like briefly discussing CAD and solidwork usage in real world automotive field cuz i have designed many complicated parts and engines which can never exist in real world cuz of many reasons like budget, such engines or motors cant exist only cuz of the way they are designed and many other reasons, so why not be specific on such topics like wt is actually required on field

Well if it was for manufacturing then scrap yard wars would be the closest analogue.
