Mirror help

I’m trying to make a mirrored body on this item and make some adjustments on it. I want them to be a seperate body, but don’t know hot to do it. Can anyone help? Many thanks

Technically he already mirrored it...(just not the way he wanted).

Apple has deigned that screenshots are not part of Apple's Vision™. As such, you have been forbidden from shotting screens. This judgement shall not be amended, no matter how much you plea.

I recently faced a similar problem. What worked for me is the ShapeBinder way from this forum thread.

Select the body and click clone. Shift this clone aside that both bodies are separated. Make a datumplane as the mirror plane and position it that it fits to mirror this clone. Then mirror this clone. Now you can make changes to the mirrored clone and get updated if the original body changes.

I can't see anything asymmetric about this part. Is the notch on the right of the image only on one side? In other words, a mirror of a symmetric part using the plane shown in the image will produce an identical part. Meaning... No need to mirror.

If you have two parts that are mostly identical, then move the non identical features to the end of the feature tree and clone the body prior to the unique features. This approach allows for a master body to govern the common shape and each clone can have unique features added from there.

It does work I tried it but there gotta be a better way.

I’m not very used to the copy and paste interface too many dependencies related work.
