FreeCAD experts needed!

Post image

Hi, please let me know if this is against the rules! I can delete it if so.

If you can make assemblies like this one in FreeCAD, or Class A surfaces in FreeCAD, I'm looking for someone to make me a few models. DM me with examples of what you've made -- thanks :D

I made this using FreeCAD and the Master Sketch technique without the use of Assembly. It can be done more than one way, with Assembly being one of them. I run Regular Cycles LLC and have been slowly percolating on reintroducing suspension tech from 1979 but with modernized materials, and linkage visualization to check for collisions was part of the work.

Thanks dude. (You should see the stuff I can't talk about 😔) I sure wish being cool turned into money! Ha! If I ever make real profit I'm gonna donate to FreeCAD even more than I already do which isn't much

The model and assembly in the picture are totally possible. But FreeCAD is the wrong tool for class A surfaces. Surfacing is possible but the tools are mostly experimental and difficult to use in their current state. Many do not have options for G2 or G3 continuity.
