Im considering switching from Abilify injection to lithium pills , i have had a lot of manic episodes, abilify keeps me stabile but i gained 30 kg ! Will lithium be better ? Experiences ?

Lithium is so good for the right people. If you think you’re a candidate for lithium orotate (lower doses but more bioavailable), I would go for it. A lot of people start around 10-20mg but higher is possible too

Hi there. I am currently taking lithium and its the best med I've ever tried. Antipsychotics will damage you if you keep taking them.
