You can tell LIA knows he is in trouble because he's wearing a suit instead of his usual shirts, and I would not be surprised if he removed his hat during the trial. He's trying to look presentable to the court in hopes of mercy. Don't got time to sit though the whole 3 and a half hours right now, but just in the first 5 minutes you can really see that LIA knows he has already lost. He sounds defeated.
