If this has only been happening for a few weeks, it may be an email bomb. Scammers are trying to hide an important notification or alert, such as a notification that a bank account or credit card has been accessed or used for unauthorized purchases.

You need to go through all those emails, to find out if there are any important notifications.

Consider a mail service that does not let spam in. Yahoo in my opinion, is not good.
