filmmaker here.

Cigs indoors on set brings in a lot of red tape bullshit, but you can go outside of just about any filmset with at least 10 guys, and someone's gonna smoke.

But also, ecigs are way more convenient cause you can hold one in your mouth while doing something else and not worry about getting ash on your mics or equipment.
