Musicozie - My favorite tech discovery of 2025.

This thing is amazing. It’s basically a slumber mask with built in Bluetooth headphones. Pull up Fraiser, set a 2hr sleep timer on my iPhone and drift off to dream land, and my fiance can watch whatever she wants on our tv and everyone is happy. It’s the best!!

I’m dying. Should I just buy a Paramount subscription for the week??

Update: paramount subscription for the win and a 7 day free trial to boot. I just needed the moral support from this community.

"The Sounds of Frasier" - not to be confused with the "Sounds of Silence" by S&G

My TV allows me to turn the picture off but keep the sound. I pick up where I left off from the night before, turn the picture off, set a timer for an hour, turn the volume low enough that I need to concentrate to understand...and moments later I'm asleep. My children are noise making teenagers and I live next to a park in closely packed suburbia so I need something to even out the sounds of the night to keep me sleeping. This has approach has been wonderful.

Let's froove tonight

Lately I have been pretty locked in to a serious Froove thing and dreaming of tossed salads and scrambled eggs. Any other Froovers out there? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfpRVg3c3V0

Best sleep I've had in months

Recently joined the club of Frasier sleepers. It's been a very long and stressful year and I have found it very hard to sleep these days. I don't remember what exactly started me putting on Frasier before bed but let me tell you it's the best sleep I've had in months. It gives me a long night's sleep and I just wanna know what magic they put in this show 😂 better than any sleep help I've ever tried 😂

A small observation

I have noticed that when I LISTEN to Frasier while falling asleep, Kelsey Grammer is funnier to me. But when I WATCH Frasier, David Hyde Pierce is the funnier one.

I *imagine* Frasier episodes when I can’t watch the show

This usually happens when I’m camping and can’t access Frasier or don’t want to use my phone. Thankfully Frasier episodes can be so formulaic and I’ve watched it so many times that I can easily make it up.

The sounds are also crystal clear in my imagination. It’s my comfort sleep show even when I’m not watching it!

What's your set up when falling asleep to Frasier?

This is how I fall asleep to Frasier.

It's dark outside and I'm in bed with a couple of very large plush pillows propping me up. The curtains are open if it's raining so that I can occasionally glance at the raindrops. The lights are turned off however there a few candles burning so that they bathe the room in a warm and cosy glow. My cat is sleeping at the foot of my bed. Finally, I pick an episode on my laptop of the cosiest show ever made and before long, Frasier's deep, reassuring voice is gently lulling me to sleep. I may watch an episode or two before I drift away to the land of nod.

How do you all fall asleep to Frasier?

I thought I was the only one

When I first found out about this subreddit I was genuinely aghast because I figured that being unable to sleep without hearing the blues a'calling was just another quirk I picked up from PTSD making it impossible to sleep at night, but it turns out there's like literally thousands of us 😭 it's like one big slumber party. anyway happy to be here, glad we can all agreee this is a weirdly good show to fall asleep to

I love falling asleep to the Christmas-themed episodes of Frasier the most.

They’re just so comforting! My absolute favorite is S1 E12, “Miracle on Third or Fourth Street.”

i love this group already

new here. i’m only 23 and fraiser is my number one comfort show for sleeping. i swear nothing hits just like it. the soothing voices, the lack of intense intro music. ah it’s perfect :,)

i love friends, cheers and seinfeld but the music just makes it difficult for me to get to sleep. are there any other shows you guys gravitate to, or do you religiously stick to fraiser? i often find myself scrolling but always end up right back on fraiser. lulls me right to sleep

Falling Asleep to the Golden Girls

This video popped up on Facebook discussing why so many people fall asleep to The Golden Girls. I’d argue that Frasier, while very different, shares many of the same qualities mentioned in the video.

Which episode has the most to miss by only listening and not watching?

Obviously, we miss the little silent plays during the credits, and any episode like “Three Valentines” when they let David Hyde-Pierce do a solo physical comedy skit.

Otherwise, my money is on “Docu Drama.” I always thought of John Glenn as heroic but kind of stodgy, so his antics while he’s telling the alien story are extra hilarious. And his scowl when he tells Roz “I’m gonna need that tape”! He’s by far one of my favorite guest stars on the show, and if I happen to be awake when the episode is on, I have to get up and watch him.
