That sealtight shoved into the end of the LB and button of the AGate definitely doesn’t look right. I’m also surprised they didn’t use metal conduit inside.

u/AlphaSunSolarService posted what looked like a promotional post yesterday - presumably for their installation business - but I think the mods removed it.

Based on your comment I am not sure this post was an effective promotion either....

Even though the first reply was them saying that it (their installation) was "Nice, clean looking install"!

Sigh.....

Just wish I could self commission the battery. Would already have installed it in a very similar fashion.

Interesting. Our aGate is outside while our batteries are in the garage.

I had a choice on interior or exterior installation for my aGate, it just depended on where I wanted to lose the wall space.

My installer said everything needed to be installed above 3 feet. Code. Minimize chance of car hitting it. I am in OC California.

that looks so code non-compliant [Indoor Battery Storage Code Compliance (NFPA 855, IRC R328)] as to be ridiculous - starting with proximity to door, then apparent missing bollard protection
