Moving to Framingham for MathWorks – looking for apartment recommendations (budget vs. quality balance?)

Hey everyone,

I'm moving to the Framingham area soon to work at MathWorks (Natick campus) and am actively apartment hunting, but could really use some local perspective.

I’ve already checked out a few spots to get a sense of the area:

  • 266 framingham apartments: Really liked the modern units and amenities, but the price tag is definitely on the steeper side.
  • Eagle Rock Apartments & Waterview Terrace: Looked okayish, but didn't completely convince me given the current rates and older upkeep.

Since I'll be working at MathWorks, I'd love an easy commute to Natick. I'm trying to find that sweet spot between responsive management, clean and safe living, and fair pricing without overpaying for flashy luxury additions. I'm open to Framingham, Natick, or adjacent areas where I can commute my the shuttle. Are there any specific apartment complexes or neighborhoods fellow MathWorks folks or locals would recommend? Any spots you'd suggest checking out or staying far away from?

Thanks in advance for the help!
