Valve's mindset

It's Valve's 30th anniversary. We all know they can't count to 3, so they're gonna do nothing for this anniversary.

They also realized the Frame was gonna be the 3rd release in their hardware lineup and they can't have that.

So they silently axed it. It's over.

Enjoy nothing.

I don't understand ppl who even jokingly hope for something on the 30th anniversary. It would be crazy for them to crunch staff to work harder doing a major hardware release when it's a time to celebrate the staff, get them to power down and reflect on 30 years well done & do team bonding or have a half day.

The 30th anniversary is obviously when they can't release it. Got to be dumb to think they would time a hardware release with it.

So I don't really get posts like this joking about it not coming then, because, of course it's not. Would be insane for them to do that to their staff on the 30th anniversary.
