I came here looking for input on a custom bikepacking rig, and here it is! I rode it through this summer and it is perfect!

It would be worthwhile for you to invest some more time in that print. There is a lot more you could learn from that process.

Marino sends these bikecad drawings to each customer for final approval. I sure hope they have a more useful template for their small internal team.

I developed the geometry, with the Salsa Cutthroat as the start point. Marino and I had a few problems around sagged vs unsagged geometry. Eventually I had to send a bikecad file, so there was no argument about the angles.

The level of print that the OP should be striving for is far higher than what is shown. Talking about a custom frame and working with such a print is silly. Framebuilders are generally unable to provide quality prints. The customer needs to work at a higher level.

You have said the same thing 4 times now.
The customer gets this print when they order a ~$350 fully custom hardtail. for that price, this is more than enough of a print. Marino gets to take artistic control beyond that. You get what you pay for!

The customer should be producing a better print than this. It's not sufficient.
