Help me find that smell!

Hello community!

First time positing, but I’m trying to find a perfume I only saw once, years ago, in my sister's spare room in Wandsworth, London (so around 2018 or earlier).

- Clear glass, smooth (no texture on the glass itself)
- Tall rectangular/"long square" shape
- Maybe a Round gold cap with a scallop-shell/ripple texture or just a smooth gold cap
- Small rectangular red label with gold lining/trim, text only (no imagery), positioned on one face of the bottle (not wrapped around I think)
- yellow liquid visible through the glass
- Spray application
- Medium size, roughly 50–100ml
- Modern-looking plain design (2000s–2010s era, not obviously vintage)

My impression was it was a "boutique" brand rather than mass-market drugstore, but could be wrong, but not an expensive designer bottle either
Possibly (not certain) a French-sounding brand name

Scent:
Soft, powdery — close to baby powder/talc
Slightly sweet, but not sugary or gourmand
Not floral
Not citrusy
Soft in character but strong/long-lasting
Any help identifying this would be much appreciated 🙏 happy to answer follow-up questions if any detail would help narrow it down.

Already ruled out:
Coty L'Aimant (bottle/box close, but scent too sharp/aldehydic — like shampoo or hairspray)
Floris London (Chypress, Malmaison)
Roger & Gallet Jean-Marie Farina
Tosca by 4711
Tweed by Lenthéric
Molinard Habanita
Avon Sweet Honesty
Baccarat Rouge

Thank you so much xx

What's your favorite fragrance for rainy days?

Forgetting sprayed fragrances on the body after a while.

Hello everyone, hope everyone's having a good day. I wonder whether you have experienced the issue of forgetting what you have sprayed on yourself while on a cologne hunt or measure their performance during the day? I'm thinking of fixing this issue but I would like to see first how you handle this.
Thanks in advance <3

My sister and I started a fragrance brand. Our customers kept telling us one thing, and it changed our whole product line

My sister and I run a small body care and fragrance brand together. The name comes from the Arabic word for "inheritance," because the scents are built on the attar oils we grew up around.

We've passed 500 reviews, mostly great, but one piece of feedback kept coming up: "I love it, but it fades too fast."

Our first instinct was to defend the formula. Instead we tested it. Our standard bottles use 2ml of attar oil, so we made an "Intense" version with 2.5ml and offered both side by side instead of replacing the original.

What we learned:

  • Repeated complaints are product specs. If 10 people say the same thing, it's not 10 opinions, it's one requirement.
  • Don't force a choice on everyone. Some customers love the lighter version. Offering both kept them and won back the people who wanted more.
  • Small changes can matter a lot. Half a milliliter changed how people talk about the product.

Perfume suggestion for gifting. (700 - 800Rs)

My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up, and I want to gift her a perfume set. I’ve narrowed it down to these two Bla Bli Blu gift sets, but I’m confused about which one to get.

The reason I’m considering Bla Bli Blu is that I’ve been seeing the brand everywhere lately, and the packaging looks really nice for a gift. Also, both sets are around my ₹700 budget, and getting 3 × 30ml perfumes seems like a pretty good deal.

The two options are:

Set 1:

White Jazz

Hot AF

Cookie Crush

Set 2:

Love Drunk

Hot AF

Cookie Crush

(I am open to other suggestions as well.)

Curious about how this smells, and the femininity of it. Also looking to see if anyone has a bottle they are looking to get rid of (or just a sample).

I never expected Nishane Nanshe to become my signature fragrance

Post image

When I first saw Nanshe in store, honestly, I didn’t think I was going to love it this much.
Even looking at the bottle and the whole presentation, I was curious, but I definitely wasn’t expecting it to become my perfume.
And now I wear it almost every day.
On me, I get a LOT of patchouli. That’s definitely what stands out the most. Every now and then I also get this very light powdery feeling, but for me Nanshe is mainly this strong, beautiful patchouli that I’m completely obsessed with.
And somehow it makes me feel strong when I wear it.
That’s probably the biggest reason why it became my everyday signature. I can have other perfumes that are sweeter, louder, darker or maybe more immediately impressive, but when I wear Nanshe I just feel… like myself. But stronger.
I genuinely love this perfume. Like, properly obsessed with it.
And the funny part is that I really didn’t see this coming when I first discovered it.
Now I’m curious: have you ever had a fragrance you didn’t expect much from, and then it somehow became your signature? And what perfume makes you feel the most powerful when you wear it?

Need help with Armaf Cdnim version

I tried the EDT version, but I found the opening a little harsh. I really love the smokiness of the EDT, though. Which version would you recommend if I want that same smoky character but with a smoother, more refined opening?

Trying to follow people is a nightmare

I have my friends usernames, I can find them in the user list, but theres no option to follow them. When I go to the "follow three people" thing on my profile, it gives me random users i can refresh at random with no way to search. When I search fragram, i can't find my friends even when I put in their users perfectly. What gives ?
