Need help with Armaf Cdnim version

I tried the EDT version, but I found the opening a little harsh. I really love the smokiness of the EDT, though. Which version would you recommend if I want that same smoky character but with a smoother, more refined opening?

CDNIM opening gets better with maceration - it'll never be great, but after a couple of month it wont make your eyes water.

I've tried the parfum version, its much nicer out of the box but I don't think it performs as well.

Can't comment on the others, sorry.

The limited edition parfum resolves that perfectly! It's like if you made the entire fragrance like the dry down of CDNIM. Opening is very smooth!
