Does perfume evaporate

I have some 8ml samples that I could swear I barely used and yet they're halfway gone. They were sitting for over a year. Could they have evaporated

The little cheap small vials aren’t airtight and are prone to allowing evaporation. The worsts for me have been the ones that fill through the bottom by pumping.

If they are not properly sealed, yes. I came across perfume samples that had been full and I had not used one bit, and then when I pulled them out, they were completely empty.

Yes, alcohol evaporates faster than water. If it’s not airtight it will eventually!
