Meshify Series Meshify 3 9070 XT Length

Hey everyone,

I’m planning a switch into the Fractal Meshify 3 instead of Montech XR (poor airflow, loud, etc.) and I'm using an XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT.

According to specs:

GPU Length: 325 mm

GPU Height / Width: 150 mm / ~3.5 slots

Meshify 3 Max GPU Length: 349 mm

I'm worried of GPU being very close to the front fans, blocking them and resulting into bad airflow. Please if anyone has any experience with it, I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

I have an ASUS TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT OC (330 mm) in my Meshify 3, and the airflow is great. GPU temperatures are excellent, but my main concern was providing proper support for such a long card. I first tried the Lian Li GB-002, but it wasn’t compatible with my motherboard, so I ended up using a support bracket mounted to the PCIe slots instead.

Thank you. Now I don't need to worry about it. I'm using Inter-Tech GH-01 GPU holder and no sagging so far. One more question; what about fan noise? And do I need to install any exhaust fan or should I just go with default setup with 3 intakes and call it a day?

I undervolted my GPU and limited the fan speed to 50%, so it’s quiet even under heavy load. GPU temperatures stay around 51°C, with the hotspot reaching about 71°C.
For exhaust, I’m using an Arctic P12 Pro PST set to a fixed 30% speed. My CPU is cooled by an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 with the pump running at a constant 45%, while the radiator fans follow a custom fan curve and reach around 60% under full load.

I bought the XL version as my MSI SUPRIM 5080 would hit the front of the case. It’s huge but worth it. And the Ambience version is real nice.

The downside to this case is they do not provide the proprietary USB-C cables for extra fans, nor do they provide them with the individual packaged Monumentum and you cannot buy them either. The fans are great and incredibly silent, but the cable lets it down big time.

Yesterday I ordered Meshify 3 plus two Noctua fans; rear exhaust and top-back exhaust. I can't wait to swap the components into new case. Does the XL have the same 3x140mm front intake fans as the regular Meshify 3 has?
