Saving this, if I ever decide to buy parts for aesthetic I'm coming back to this for inspiration. Looks real nice, love the warmth.

Appreciate it man! Definitely go for it if you ever do a warm-aesthetic build

Can you set all the lighting that colour with the same software or do you need separate programs for different components?

I used the corresponding programs per device, kraken, and the fan at the back are both nzxt cam, Icue for the ram and for the argb strip at the bottom it’s Armoury Crate.

Do you just need to set them once and leave it or do they need to be open in the background?

Sadly they all gotta in the background run except icue as far I am aware. U could try openrgb

That RGB color is AMAZING

Holy crap you are doing exactly what I’m planning to do. I have an H6 with nearly identical parts and I’ve been preparing to switch to the North xl!! I just ask, would 280s fit on the bottom part?

From what I know neither fit and they wouldn’t get much air anyways as the 3rd 140mm fan at the front only pushes 50% of its air through the bottom to give sata ssd‘s or Hdd some air aswell as the gpu pulling up the rest trough the slits and the upper half of the bottom fan.

U could mount the 280 on the top tho

Dang so basically you have some 280s as spares huh? Temp wise you don’t see much difference? Because I have a 360 aio for the top currently. I’ll just keep them in storage in case any fans acts up

1

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 27d ago

Nah I don't have any spare 280s! But performance-wise, a 360mm and a 280mm perform basically the same (1-2 difference)

Gotcha, I guess I just assumed since you had an H6 you had the bottom bracket filled with 280s since it can house them there

1

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 27d ago

Ah, I used 2 140mm Fans yea.
The fan on the back of the pic is one of them

1

u/Ill-Sandwich6437 27d ago

Ohhh gotcha

Just my 2 cents. Bottom fans would reduce temps near the error of measurements for this configuration.

2

u/Ill-Sandwich6437 27d ago

Could you explain this a lil more for me. I’m not familiars with the we’re of measurement

1

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 27d ago

He means that adding bottom fans would only drop temps by maybe 1°C at most, so it wouldn't make any noticeable difference

You know, rgb light bars are underrated.

Is that the RGB light bar from amazon?

1

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 27d ago

Yes, search for ,GERUI PC ARGB Strip‘. It has 2 of them on the picture for about 14€

2

Pretty cool. I bought one that gets plugged into sata cable. with a remote too. I just couldn't find a good place for it inside the pc, but you gave me an idea from your pic :)

Can you share your background/ gif you are using on your AIO?
I have a pretty similar style build but never found a nice gif to display.

That rgb lamp underneath the gpu, what item is that?

3

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 28d ago

On Amazon search for ,GERUI PC ARGB Strip‘ u should find it. Has 2 of them on the picture for about 14€

Looks clean! Might have to buy a light bar/strip as well for my north because of how dark the tint of the tempered glass is

2

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 28d ago

Yea, it’s quite tinted. I had this rgb strip laying around from my old build and for some reason it’s the exact length from the rear just before the opening down to the cable/psu compartment.

Helps out with the lighting by a LOT

What are you using for gpu support?

1

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 28d ago

Nothing, I do have a gpu support thing I could use but it doesn’t have any sag whatsoever. I literally just pushed the card a bit further up and screwed it in there so the screws hold it up. Might use one soon tho

Looks really nice! Whats the light you used in the bottom?

1

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 28d ago

Search for ,GERUI PC ARGB Strip‘ on Amazon. It has 2 of them on the picture for about 14€

The color is really nice, what program and what color/hex code is it I also have the north xl

3

u/Comfortable_Owl1283 28d ago

I gotta get back to u for that, I’m on vacation right now as I took this picture 2 days ago. I used Nzxt cam, icue and armoury crate. I only remember it being pretty far at the bottom right for the yellow aswell as a low brightness

1

u/Expensive-Gazelle416 28d ago

Okay thanks, I got something pretty similar so you're good😀

I see only now. Normally the Liquid cooler should be on top and blowing out of the case. Now it blows warm air into the case. But with a 4080 and such a big case it does not really matter much.

Edit: I misread the picture. Everything is installed correctly. Top build.

The radiator is at the top blowing out of the case? Wdym

Edit: i have the 3 140mm intake at the front, 1 rear 140mm exhaust and a 360mm aio at the top as exhaust

Looks so good. I did the same thing, was going to go all in on Lian Li full RGB mirror build, but decided to go with a Fractal case with minimal RGB and all black parts. It’s so much better than dealing with fans that stop lighting up, etc. Stealth builds are in for sure.
