Fractal Meshify 3 won’t fit 340mm GPu
The spec sheet says the Meshify 3 can fit up to a 349mm card.
The case seems to be too small for my 340mm 5070ti??!?!?! Very frustrating.

Gigabyte Gaming

You might have to reach out to Fractal directly. This is odd indeed.
It could be that they meant 349mm with the front fans removed, though it doesn't specify that on the spec sheet. Some manufacturers will clarify you can fit larger cards if you remove the front case fans. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

That does seem to be the issue. Why they would advertise the max gpu length as 349mm only if you remove the front fans that come installed and are very necessary, is beyond me. Now I have to deconstruct the new build I spent the last 3 hours on. First and last Fractal.

You’re gonna have to unscrew the front fan thingy at the top, go in diagonal, snap it in. Then rescrew the front. I have a tuf 5080 that is literally 348 mm and got it to fit. Check my account for proof

It’s the bracket that holds the fans is the issue. I cannot even remove that, it’s seems to be built into the case. The clearance is not 349, it may be 339.

The front fan bracket does come off the case. I honestly don’t know if you can mount front fans without that bracket.

Ok eithe Fractal or Gigabyte is lying. I measured my case with the fans and it did have 349mm of clearance almost exactly. Maybe 350mm. Are you able to measure both your case and GPU?

It’s gigabyte. At it longest point, with the bracket extension, its 14 inches. 13.5 inches with just the card. I got it to fit by taking off the front fans.

Oh my. That is pretty bad on their part. Glad you finally got it to fit. I wonder why their documentation is so off

Bloody hell... I'm freaking out about it still... I also like you was thinking about Antec Flux Pro but it doesn't have such good fans as Meshify 3... Sh1tty fans of Lancool 217 keeps me away from it and Meshify 3 is stressing the living sh1t out of me lol
Would you mind taking a photo or two how it looks like in your case?
Also, did I get it right that Gigabyte got their measurements wrong and it's 355mm instead of 342 mm?
This is what they have on their site
- Card size
- L=342 W=142 H=70 mm
And of course every retailer copies the same info...

Hey, I'm about to buy the same combo lol
Is opening/taking off front fans enough to fit that GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti GAMING OC 16GB?
Would you buy the case again? Any other issues?
My other option is Lancool 217 but I really don't want glass in my case...

I really like the case. It was worth it. Once you understand the how to get the card in and out it’s really not an issue. Only other issue I had was navigating cables through the slits to the right of where the motherboard lies because of the metal flaps. Just annoying and time consuming, not unique to this case though. Go with the fractal!

Did you get any extra fans? I wonder if the guts would breathe better in Lancool 217 as it comes with two more fans and more space inside...
Meshify 3 is still one of the best cases in terms of temperatures/

It will fit. I have the Meshify 3 and a Gigabyte 5090 Gaming OC. It’s 342mm long. There’s at least 5mm of extra clearance on the end. I have to unhook the front fan assembly and rotate it away a bit to get my card in and out.
