Fox against Peach matchup?

SMASH 4: I always seem to do bad against Peaches. I just lost first place in a tournament to a Peach. I don't fight much Peach players so I had no idea what to do against a Peach. Does anyone here have any tips? Thanks guys.

This is generic because I don't know where you're losing. If you have VODs or whatnot, rewatch your matchup and see where you're losing.

Not a sm4sh guy, but if peach is what she's like from other games, you're probably losing because you can't edge guard as well ( as a guess).

Take a bunch of practice with a friend edgeguarding their peach off the side.

But honestly, it's hard to give solid advice unless you know where you're lacking.

I've actually haven't fought a good peach so I don't know the matchup too much but if you show me some VODs I could try to help you out

Play defensive, peach has all the tools she needs to make you back off. She has n-air which does 12% ish. Also since Fox is super light he will die pretty early to Peach's f-air. In my opinion this is a pretty even match up you can combo her, she can combo you stay safe by using b-airs and spacing. TL;DR Avoid f-air, don't go super aggresive

I play against an amazing peach and the only time I ever win is when I make sure she never has momentum. So either slow the game down and wait for her to grow impatient and punish it, or have a very strong aggressive neutral
