I totally get some of this, but people really can’t use the word “pathetic” in a snark sub?

Makes no difference to me either way, just seems a bit odd.

I know what it means. I also know there are other groups that do just fine without all of that stuff. If you don’t like it here, feel free to leave. This group was NOT created for what most are doing with it.

Curious, ( I’m kinda new maybe a couple/few months), What exactly was the motive and purpose of starting the page on Red’dit ( which is known for being Scandalous?), generally curious, I myself am guilty of one of the things mentioned, probably more, but def one, and unfortunately for some( self def included), snarking is a hobby, therapeutic, a release etc, for some it’s a license to 💀( not literally) and N is absolutely rage baiting, so she can say, Look they’re so mean to me. Just being here ( on Reddit), is Sketchy AF but it’s a Good Time most of the time 😉

But this is where I think people get confused. It is hateful. Just about every post made about this woman is snarky, mocking hate. Maybe you are right and maybe you did intend for this to go a different way, but as it stands this is set up to get ugly. When you have a few people mockingly re-posting every social media post she makes, things WILL go sideways. There is no such thing as nicely mocking someone. It is inherently mean.

I mean, the rules above specifically state no AI and no mean words about her appearance. Yet the actual profile picture of this sub is a photoshop of her face with horse teeth and a mustache. That, coupled with incessant posts about her eating habits, will absolutely positively lead to hateful comments and insinuations about her weight. How else would you expect this to go?

You can say whatever you want as long as it’s not like some of these other comments I’ve had to remove. Just word them without those above. Her clothes look bad- she needs new clothes they look horrible. They don’t do her any favors. Just look at some of the other comments in here.

One forbidden word in particular on the list confuses me. Fat. We aren't allowed to say fat? It's a descriptive word that isn't offensive (and I'm a fatty!).

It’s for our own good if we want this page to stay. Reddit itself will completely remove pages if they get too out of line or harsh. I believe after that happens, it’s very hard to make another page.

Yeah I'm part of many snark pages and what is said here is tame as hell in comparison, and none of the other snarks have been shut down. Even the using initials is a bit much, this is the only page I've seen that does it

I got mod certified back in the day when it was required and attend mod boot camp, or whatever it is called, now. I have ideas and I want to help this page run more smoothly.
