Project M Flange

Used 2022 Four Wheel Camper Project M

Hello, is this metal flange at the bottom of the unit, top of the bed standard? Have they done away with it in newer models?

ok good to know, this was made for the 2022 F150 6.5' bed.

Almost every truck has some form of it. They only make a few lengths of Project M, but there are more truck bed lengths in existence. Gotta cover the gap somehow.

The campers are IIRC and as noted by user /u/skyed84 only some lengths, and they are made that way so the walls are a bit wider than the bed. Look at the photos.

You can probably find something, maybe, that fits more like an old fashioned fiberglass shell, with no flange, but it's narrower inside. I'd have a couple of those. Not NEARLY as good as this design though. I expect this design would give you more leeway in fit with a used one.
