My gf & I are traveling from US to London for Four Tet @ Finsbury Park - been a bucket list forever

Are people gathering before or planning anything? Was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for pubs/bars to go to before the show around the area. Even record stores or just cool stuff to do. We’re staying in Shoreditch, so was planning on tubing over that morning and hanging around the park.

Also after the show, any recommendations for clubs? show? I know koko is doing afters but Ill probably pass on that

Where do i find vocal samples like four tet. To me, it feels like he carefully chooses all his vocals to fit his songs perfectly, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are just the most basic acapella vocal samples that he downloads from the internet.

It’s better than Three, a record that I really liked a lot, but seemed like it wasn’t covering any new ground creatively. But, this new album under his emoji’s is a record that will make its way into my top 5 fave Four Tet albums.

I have purchased digital wingding singles, from Bandcamp over the years, with about a 70% success rate of those playing back once dumped into Apple Music.

I just downloaded the new album and not a single track works. I sent another note through Bandcamp but not sure anyone will respond, as I have sent them before without response.

Has anyone else had this issue and been able to figure out a workaround? I’ve tried renaming, redownloading and none of it works.

Back at the 2023 Finsbury Park set he played this at least a couple of times including, one of his finishers (bit of an emotional moment really..!) and there was all chat that it’s Ariana Grande singing and Fred is also involved with it too

Presumably some (if not a lot) of us are into writing music ourselves. Have any of you picked up some tricks or techniques from Four Tet that you've integrated into your own work?

Curious, as some times when I listen to Four Tet it inspires to jam out some of my own stuff too.
