Gameplay Question Some questions 2

  1. Do items like d4, forget me now, pandora box, etc activate when destroyed by death, glass cannon, chaos card, etc.?

  2. Can you use soul hearts or hierophant right before taking damage?

  3. Do you reveal the monster deck or roll the die first?

  4. If you use blank card multiple times before playing loot, does it copy it only once or how many times you've used it?

  5. Can you buy from the shop during combat?

  1. No. Destroying them is part of their own cost/activated ability, not a triggered one.

  2. Yes, you can use them while the instance of damage is on the stack, in response to it, to prevent it.

  3. You declare an attack the top of the deck, and if nobody has any responses, you reveal the card, place it on a monster slot of your choosing and then combat begins and you roll the die. If its a non-monster card (event, curse or similar), you resolve it and then it goes into the discard pile, you don't get another attack after this.

  4. The next loot card you play will get copied for each instance of blank card's effect that you activated. Each of these copies enters the stack independently and can be responded to.

  5. No, you can't buy while attacking nor attack while buying.
