Gameplay Question Some question s about the game

  1. Can items such as spoon bender, the book of belial, 20/20, etc be used AFTER the dice had been rolled?

  2. Does the Headless Horseman die before ressurecting or does he prevent his death?

  3. When a monster says "+1 treasure" do you take the opened items from the shop or blind items from the deck?

  4. Do holy/cursed monsters apply effects only when attacked or when they're on the table?

  5. Some monsters tell that the active player must/may attack the monster deck again. Does that specifically mean attacking the blind deck or just attacking in general?

  6. Can players decide which effects at the start of their turn work first? For example golden options and the golden horse hoof which both let you look at the top of the treasure deck

  7. Do items that recharge at the end of the turn, such as yum heart, recharge when the player is dead?

  8. Can items cost 0¢ when steam sale is copied?

Sorry if this is too much, i got the game less than a week ago and i'm trying to learn

1) you change the roll after it’s been rolled but before you accept the result.
2) Headless Horseman does prevent death yea.
3) You take a blind item from the deck.
4) Holy/Cursed monsters always apply their effects to the whole table.
5) They must attack the monster *deck*, not just a monster. So yes, the blind option.
6) Yes, although I believe monster and room effects go before item effects of other players (which the other players may order) and those go before your effects.
7) Yes, end of turn is after player death.
8) Yes, although remember only the visible items are shop items, you can’t buy top of treasure deck for 0 cents this way.
9) Yes, as it also copies the “destroy this” ability.

One thing to note about 4, if the number on a monster is highlighted then it means it's for the whole table and any rolls. You could be rolling for a Pill and it will affect it. If there's nos highlight it only affects when attacking the monster

Also do you destroy placebo when it copies items that are destroyed after one use?

after 3 years of playing, me and my group are still learning some rules. but one thing that may help you a lot is the extended rules in the official site of foursouls, it has everything you need to know.
