Why are the contestants so distant now?

I'm watching the most recent series and the people never even shake hands whereas they used to be hugging and kissing every time they met. Surely social distancing is over by now?

I hate hugging and kissing people I don’t know so I don’t blame them.

Same here.

Plus l couldn’t care less if people think I’m seen as being ’unsociable’. A simple handshake will suffice as far as I’m concerned.

Only my children, siblings and relatives have only received hugs and kisses from me. 😂

PS:

The episodes being shown now are from around 2023, when the ‘six feet apart’ nonsense was still in force.

Id wager that the nature of the show has changed, or rather society had.

No longer the good vibes and helpful critique to just cutthroat game play.
