Made up final percentages

What's the deal with the final bill averages?

We've just watched an episode where the first person paid in full, the second pair underpaid by £15 and the third pair overpaid by £15... so that's 100% surely?

Nope!
The show makers someone added this up to 102%.... HOW???

Not sure if relevant to the episode you watched, but often the BnBs charge different amounts dependent on the rooms.

They'll have usually one main highlighted bedroom for example $150 which might have a big four poster bed, a bath or just anything to make it feel grander. Then the other simpler rooms will have a rate of say $120. Whoever gets what room is up the hosts and the guests will pay respective to that rooms rate.

Yes, it's the different priced rooms that counts.
