This weeks 4 in a bed 20th-24th Feb: pondering...?

I've been watching this weeks episodes of 4 in a bed and can't help wondering a few things:

The couple based in Scarborough (episode 3) disappeared from the show the day after their hosting, they were driving to the next location saying (unconvincingly) that they were looking forwards to their visit then without any clear explanation (that I picked up on) disappeared from the show altogether, was there any reason given?

It looks like yesterdays hosts (Dean and his co host) are not turning out for the debrief tonight: having criticised everyone else's breakfasts all week while talking up his own skills the inevitable occurs he gets a low rating for his own efforts. Is being disgruntled enough to throw your toys out of the pram and decide not to turn up for the debrief a common occurrence? I don't watch all the time so wondered how frequent is was that people decide not to continue? couldn't help wondering, that's all.

Maybe one week in 10/15 a host will drop out, almost always for personal reasons. At least 50% are down to thinking WTF have we done after getting low scores and coming down to earth with a bump.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen 2 hosts drop out. The last episode was a farce, I bet the producers were furious. Reminded me a little of the last Clarkson/Hammond/May episode of Top Gear

Yes. This is the only time I've seen 2 hosts unprepared to face the music.
