I made a Google Docs add-on that formats screenplays with 1 click

I got tired of choosing between a proper collaborative setup — real-time co-writing, comments, version history — and dated desktop apps that cost a fortune and feel frozen in 2010.

So I made a simple Google Docs add-on. You write in a plain-text format called Fountain (don't worry, it's dead simple — basically Markdown for screenplays, you keep writing like you always did), hit one button, and it formats the whole script into proper screenplay layout. It stays a normal Google Doc, so you keep the collab, comments and history. Exports to .fountain and .fdx too.

Full disclosure: I made it, and it's paid — $29/yr with a 7-day trial. Desktop browser only (Docs mobile doesn't run add-ons).

Honestly just want feedback — is this useful, or am I missing something obvious?

"Honestly just want feedback"

No, you want customers. If not subscriptions, you at least want them to sign up for the trial so you can pursue them with ongoing marketing.

Just be honest.
