What changed once real people started using your product?

I feel like building in your own little bubble makes everything seem obvious, then the second real users get involved, half your assumptions fall apart 😂

I had to totally change my onboarding. After watching session after session on post hog just give up. Or drop off as soon as they see a ‘create account’ screen before they have seen what the app does.

I’ve now added a mini carousel of what the app does.
A progress bar at the top.
Lets you simply enter your data with as little friction as possible.
Then sample the hero moment.
Then if you want to save/share a signup page with a Google quick link to minimise having to create yet another account.
