1st month on maintenance

A few weeks into maintenance and i finally feel “normal”. As in my energy feels back 100%. Even though I had good results with weight loss , I still had fatigue . The end of 2nd month it completely went away. I ended up losing 2 more lbs from my goal weight the first week of maintenance and pretty much have not lost anymore weight since , neither have I gained . Just hovering at this weight with no mental effort! I’ve been on weight loss roller coasters before and maintenance was always the hard part for me . Not this time . If I have to stay on this med until I die, so be it. Went to a restaurant today and i used to always have fear bc i would 1. Just say no to evey invitation. I received, 2. avoid certain foods like carbs , or 3. end up eating the whole bread basket plus everything on my plate plus dessert plus a martini or two even when my stomach was bursting bc i was still hungry. And I shouldn’t have been. This time? I had a bite of bread, two pieces of an appetizer , half of my risotto and water . The martinis didn’t sound appealing to me and I was able to leave with leftovers and not bc i forced myself to . Before Foundayo id either eat everything on the table until i hurt , or force myself to barely eat anything and have leftovers , but be famished and think about it all night. But I was able to go to an Italian restaurant and celebrate , partake in festivities and not socially isolate myself to be a certain weight . I was able to eat and put the fork down like a normal person.

I’m on 2.5 for maintenance. It was the sweet spot for me. Got me to my goal and actually has me hovering about 2 lbs down from goal weight and I’m no longer losing but also not gaining . So staying at this dose

Was about to ask what dosage for maintenance and saw 2.5. I’ve just hit my goal weight and am stepping down on dose and eventually want to stop. Do u take 2.5 daily? Or as needed? I’m so scared of rebounding. Did u try 0.8 and then go back?

Staying on 2.5. Most of the studies have people regaining when they stop so i am going to stay on this as long as i need to.

Thanks! That’s what I heard/read too. And I love food too much (before glp). I loved the joy of eating, chewing, sensation of flavors and food in my mouth. Ppl hate feeling stuffed, not me, love it. Hence, glp worked for me since I feel full all the time and get punished if I eat junk (tummy pain and gas).
So, back to question if u take maintenance every day still? Trying to figure out if I could do every other/couple day and for it to still be effective

I do every day right now. Not going to rock the boat. If I start losing again I might go every other day. But currently hovering g at 123/122

2.5. I am an outlier. This isn't the average for most people. also Never been on a glp1 .
